In the morning or afternoon you will be picked up by our local guide Miguel for the bike tour Lima. Miguel will take you to the place near the hotel where the bikes are. Then you will make a bike tour through the districts of Miraflores and Barranco. Miraflores and especially Barranco are the 2 districts in the capital of Peru where many cultural activities take place. In total the excursion takes about 3 hours.
You start the bike tour Lima in the Barranco district. It is not without reason that the MATE museum (the photo museum of one of the most famous photographers in the world and Peruvian Mario Testino) is located in Barranco. In addition to this museum, this district houses nice shops, art galleries, studios and cozy local restaurants and bars. At one of these bars you will make a stop for a nice cup of coffee. During the bike tour you will also pass old colonial mansions in Barranco, once inhabited by famous Peruvian writers, painters and musicians
In the Miraflores district you will cycle along la Costa Verde (the Green Coast) for a large part. From this spot you have a beautiful view of the Lima coastline, about 100 meters below you. You will cycle over a green strip and cycle via the luxurious shopping center Larcomar to the colorful Parque del Amor (Park of Love). This park is reminiscent of the Spanish artist Gaudi and is a place where many Peruvian couples in love go. Via the Parque del Amor you will finally cycle back to the place where you started and your Lima bike tour ends.
