Day-by-Day Itinerary
The Arequipa Tour takes you to the suburbs and countryside on the outskirts of the city of Arequipa. The excursion lasts approximately 4 hours in total. You start at the lookout tower in Carmen Alto, one of the suburbs, from where you have a beautiful view of the volcanoes El Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
Next, you depart for the Yanuhuara district, with beautiful streets in a style reminiscent of Andalusia. Afterwards, you visit the colonial church of San Juan Bautista. You also visit the Sabandia Mill, which dates back to 1621. The mill was used for grinding grain. Today, the mill is a museum.
Finally, with the Arequipa Tour, you also visit the districts of Tingo and Sachaca, where you have a magnificent view of almost the entire city from the watchtowers.
Note: Every day at 10:00 AM, there is an Arequipa Tour with an international group. If you would like to take the excursion at a different time or prefer to do it privately rather than in a group, we can arrange a private driver/guide for you. The additional cost for this is €15.00 per person.
