Huacachina Peru with buggy
Race with an open buggy through the sand dunes around the oasis Huacachina Peru. For this tour we work as much as possible with our regular and English speaking driver Daniël.
Huacachina Oasis
The Huacachina oasis is located next to the city of Ica. In this region the sun shines almost all year round. Around the oasis are a number of hotels and restaurants and around them a large number of sand dunes. Some of the sand dunes are up to a hundred meters high.
The best Peruvian wines come from the region around the city of Ica. If you would like to visit a Peruvian wine farm , we will be happy to arrange this for you.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel in Huacachina, Peru, by our driver Daniël at a pre-arranged time and then driven by buggy to sand dunes approximately 15 minutes from the oasis. Partly due to noise disturbance caused by the buggies, they are no longer allowed to drive through the sand dunes near the oasis.
Huacachina sandboarding
Daniël has a sandboard in his buggy for everyone joining, allowing you to sandboard across the sand dunes. You can do this standing up or sitting down. Don't forget to apply the gel provided to the bottom of your sandboard beforehand, otherwise you won't move forward. Furthermore, Daniël loves to show off his driving skills through the dunes, where the motto naturally applies: 'Safety first!' The buggy tour lasts just under 2 hours in total.
Tip: The sunset in the desert sand dunes is beautiful. Therefore, a tip is to take the Huacachina Peru buggy excursion in the afternoon to experience the stunning sunset right in the middle of the sand dunes. After the sunset, Daniel will take you back to your hotel by the lake in the Huacachina oasis in the buggy.
