To facilitate bookings, Tura Travel offers a range of secure payment options complying with Peruvian financial and tax regulations.
1. Accepted Payment Gateways & Secure Transactions
We implement strict encryption protocols to protect your billing transactions:
- Credit & Debit Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club. Online payments are processed through a secure, SSL-encrypted gateway that supports 3D Secure verification to prevent unauthorized transactions.
- PayPal and Payment Links: If requested, we can issue invoice-tied payment links via email or WhatsApp, allowing you to pay directly with your card or PayPal account.
- Direct Corporate Bank Transfers: Transfer funds directly to our corporate bank accounts in Peru. All details, including SWIFT/BIC codes and Interbank Account Codes (CCI), will be provided upon reservation.
2. Exoneration of the 18% General Sales Tax (IGV) for Non-Residents
Under Peruvian Legislative Decree N° 919, foreign tourists visiting Peru are exempt from paying the 18% General Sales Tax (IGV) on lodging, transport, and tour packages. To apply this exemption to your invoice, you must satisfy the following conditions:
- Submit a clear, legible copy of your valid international Passport.
- Provide a copy of the digital entry stamp or Andean Migration Card (TAM) issued by Peruvian Immigration upon entry.
- Your stay in Peru must not exceed 60 consecutive days.
If these documents are not provided prior to invoicing, or for Peruvian citizens and residents, the 18% IGV must be added to the price of the booking.
3. Deposit and Payment Schedules
To secure bookings, Tura Travel enforces the following deposit schedule:
- Day Excursions: 50% deposit at the time of booking; the balance is due 7 days before the excursion starts.
- Multi-Day Tour Packages: 30% deposit upon booking; the balance must be paid 21 days before arrival.
- Inca Trail & Custom Group Travel: Full payment for Inca Trail permits plus 30% of package cost upon booking; full balance must be settled 45 days before the trip starts.
